Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundsman in Leelanau County, Michigan. The job is in a botanical garden. On the job you will handle: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Happy to work outdoors in all weather At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
