CO2 welder — Oconee County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Oconee County, Georgia. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence 6+ years on the tools preferred.
