We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Marion County, Florida. You will work in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Day-to-day duties: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
