Now hiring: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Uinta County, Wyoming. You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Day-to-day duties: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
