Dogger — Gallatin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Gallatin County, Illinois. You will work at a power plant. The role involves set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position. What we are looking for: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $31 per hour plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
