Horizontal milling machine operator • Potter County, Texas

Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Potter County, Texas. You will be based at an automotive components factory. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Day to day you will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
