Dogger — Boone County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Boone County, Kentucky. The job is at a container port. On the job you will handle: • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
