Urgent requirement: moulder (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in McMullen County, Texas. You will be based on the moulding line. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around $4,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
