Trainee butcher — Maverick County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Maverick County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Season and marinate meat on request • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Performance bonus on top of base pay.
