Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Franklin County, Washington. The job is in a textile and apparel unit. The role involves match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
