Bar bender and fixer — Scott County

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Scott County, Mississippi. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day to day you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
