Head baker — Miami County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a head baker in Miami County, Kansas. The job is at a cake shop. What we are looking for: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens On a typical shift you will decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
