Gas meter installer — Iron County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Iron County, Utah. Day-to-day duties: • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge You should have: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
