Great opportunity: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Igabi, Kaduna State. Day-to-day duties: • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Rotating shifts.
