Join our team: backhoe operator (New Jersey)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Mercer County, New Jersey. You will be based in an open-cast quarry. Your main tasks: • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels Requirements: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
