Gantry crane operator — Suwannee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Suwannee County, Florida. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
