Delivery driver — Houston County

Now hiring: we are hiring a delivery driver in Houston County, Alabama. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to load and unload goods by hand • Good knowledge of city roads, routes and shortcuts The role involves park and reverse safely in tight loading bays and narrow lanes; maintain the vehicle logbook and record opening and closing mileage; keep fuel receipts and update the daily trip sheet; carry out daily pre-trip checks on tyres, engine oil, coolant, brakes and lights; deliver goods to customers and collect signatures or proof of delivery; handle cash on delivery and reconcile the day's collections. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
