Urgent requirement: crane operator (Michigan)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Ionia County, Michigan. The job is on a high-rise tower crane. You should have: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • A good head for heights for tower crane work You will rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
