Immediate opening: sewing machine operator (Tennessee)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Maury County, Tennessee. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory 3+ years on the tools preferred.
