Elevator technician • Yala, Cross River State

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in Yala, Cross River State. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. Day-to-day duties: • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers You should have: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
