Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Monroe County, Missouri. The job is at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. On the job you will handle: • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Full-time with occasional weekends.
