Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Oxford County, Maine. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing On the job you will handle: • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour 6+ years on the tools preferred. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
