Lift technician — Cedar County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift technician in Cedar County, Missouri. You will work in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. The role involves: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work Six days a week, one day off.
