Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight The role involves select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints.
