Join our team: we are hiring a tile fixer in Putnam County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge Ideal candidate: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $25 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
