Immediate opening: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Columbia County, Georgia. You will work at a busy garment factory. Your main tasks: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
