You should have: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Reliable timekeeping and a strong work ethic Day to day you will set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
