The role involves: • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Willing to work on remote sites and rotating rosters Part-time with flexible hours.
