Die-casting operator wanted in Rich County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Rich County, Utah. The job is at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling The role involves: • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
