Gas service engineer • Ogle County, Illinois

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Ogle County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply Requirements: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Able to read isometric and site drawings Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
