CNC mill setter-operator — The Scottish Borders

Join our team: we are hiring a CNC mill setter-operator in The Scottish Borders, Scotland. Ideal candidate: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
