Tig welder wanted in Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Monroe County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On the job you will handle: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Six days a week, one day off.
