Vacancy available: plant operator (Kano State)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Ungogo, Kano State. You will be based in a textile mill. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily clean-down and 5S of the work station • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter You should have: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery ₦175,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
