Fusing press operator — Uvwie

Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Uvwie, Delta State. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. What we are looking for: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Six days a week, one day off.
