Precision welder — Baker County

Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Baker County, Georgia. You will be based on an industrial construction site. The role involves read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
