Lathe operator — Saint Clair County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Saint Clair County, Michigan. You should have: • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts On the job you will handle: • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift • Segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
