We are recruiting: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Reading, England. You will work at an infrastructure construction site. Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
