Immediate opening: we are hiring a press operator in Steele County, North Dakota. On a typical shift you will carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; record output and downtime on the production sheet; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
