Port container crane operator wanted in Ohio County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Ohio County, Indiana. The role involves help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 2+ years on the tools preferred.
