We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Trinity County, California. Day to day you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size. Requirements: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Full-time with occasional weekends.
