Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Jackson County, Iowa. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. Your main tasks: • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters Ideal candidate: • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites 2+ years on the tools preferred.
