We are recruiting: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Wharton County, Texas. The job is at an accident repair centre. On the job you will handle: • Mask off trim, glass and rubber seals with tape and paper • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting Requirements: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods We offer $4,000 per month plus benefits.
