Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint booth operator in Stanton County, Kansas. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. Requirements: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting The role involves: • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
