Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Montgomery County, Indiana. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits.
