Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Meriwether County, Georgia. The role involves carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards We offer $15 per hour plus benefits.
