Press setter operator — Fune

Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in Fune, Yobe State. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. You will adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; set up and change stamping dies and tooling; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
