Turning centre operator — Lincoln County

Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Lincoln County, Kentucky. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
