We are recruiting: argon welding operator (Imo State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Owerri Municipal, Imo State. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Requirements: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
