Lathe operator — Okaloosa County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe operator in Okaloosa County, Florida. You will work in a textile mill. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Basic record-keeping and part-counting skills Your main tasks: • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Set up and start the machine as per the job card Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
