We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in Buchanan County, Iowa. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. On the job you will handle: • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Rotating shifts.
